art at the library
The Barrington Area Library is proud to support the arts through the Gallery in the Library and the Sculpture Garden. The Barrington Area Library's arts program expands the library's mission to stimulate the imagination and foster lifelong learning. Through regular rotating exhibits in the Gallery in the Library and temporary exhibits in the Sculpture Garden, original works of art are displayed for the viewing and enjoyment of the Library's visitors. The Arts Advisory Committee coordinates all exhibits and is comprised of two local co-curators, two Library Trustees, and Barrington Area Library employees with a passion and dedication to the arts. Together, the Committee strives to provide a vehicle for artists to inspire and liberate the human spirit through the arts.
