Edmund Baxter Alexander, Jr. was born in Barrington on January 15, 1936 to Edmund B. and Madeline Prouty Alexander.

Alexander attended Barrington High School before joining the U.S. Army, serving as a Specialist 4th Class during the Vietnam War.

Professionally, he was a cement finisher.

Alexander married Virginia “Jean” (Dundich) Oswald about 1981.

SP4 Edmund Alexander died October 29, 1988 in Miramar, Florida; he is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
