James Steven Glaser was born April 25, 1950 in Chicago to Alvin and Ethel Leonard Glaser.

Glaser served his country from March, 1969 to January, 1971 as a U.S. Marine during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Corporal.

He married Mary Ann Flood in 1971; they had two children.

CPL James Glaser died June 22, 1980, and is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
