Robert J. Miller was born May 28, 1945 in Elgin, to Paul W. and Florence Miller.

Miller graduated from Barrington High School in 1963. He went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the V.F.W. of Elgin.

He was married and had two children.

Miller was a maintenance supervisor for Poly Shapes in Gilberts, Illinois.

Staff Sergeant Robert Miller died on April 10, 1991 in Elgin, and is buried with other family members in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
