Roman Bernard Glowac was born August 6, 1911 in Fingal, North Dakota to Frank and Sophia Bruniszewski Glowac.
He married Juana Louise Jones before 1940; they raised three children in southern California, North Dakota, and Barrington, retiring to Madison, Wisconsin in 1982.
Glowac was inducted into the U.S. Army for service in World War II on April 7, 1943. He was honorably discharged on February 20, 1946 as a Sergeant.
He made a lifelong living as a carpenter working for building contractors and for himself.
SGT Roman Glowac died May 22, 1974 in Madison, Wisconsin and is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
