Harry Robert Arnold, Jr. was born January 14, 1929 in Chicago to Harry and Dorothy Mason Arnold.
Arnold enlisted in the U.S. Army on July 29, 1946 and served in post-World War II reconstruction activities until he was honorably discharged on Dec 6, 1947 as a Technical Specialist Fifth Grade.
On August 14, 1948, he married Alice Longto in Barrington; they raised four children there.
Professionally, Arnold was a lifelong plumber.
TEC5 Harry Arnold died September 26, 1981 in Green Bay, Wisconsin; he is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
