Thomas Stephen Costello was born in Chicago on September 10, 1946, to Thomas J. and Agnes Marion Palmer Costello.
He was incredibly proud of his education and was a graduate of the Eisenhower High School, University of Illinois (B.S.E.E.), Northwestern University, and the Harvard Executive Leadership Program.
Costello was a telecom executive and proud veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as a Lieutenant in Vietnam. He remained in the Air Force Reserves to attain the rank of Lt. Colonel as Commander of the 264 Telecommunications Squadron.
On August 9, 1969, he married Margaret Dolatowski in Berwyn, and together they raised two children.
Costello was energetic and loved to try new things with some of his favorites being sky diving, scuba diving and skiing.
Lt Col Tom Costello died peacefully in his Barrington Hills home on November 23, 2025 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
