George C. Kuhlman

George Charles Kuhlman was born January 11, 1894 in Barrington, to Gottlieb and Pauline Muller Kuhlman.
Kuhlman served in the U.S. Navy during World War I from June 1, 1918 until his honorable discharge on September 30, 1921.
In June of 1922, he married Esther F. Meyer in Barrington; they raised two children.
Kuhlman was a carpenter and mechanic in the area for many years. He was a member of Carpenters Union 2014 and American Legion Post 158.
He enjoyed fishing trips with friends in Wisconsin.
Veteran George Kuhlman died March 22, 1983 in Arlington Heights, and is buried with his wife in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
