Conrad V. Kewin

Conrad V. Kewin was born October 15, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, to Walter and Dorothea Heinz Kewin.
On March 18, 1961, Kewin married Darlene Dvore; they raised three children in Hoffman Estates and Palatine.
Kewin co-founded K-W & Associates, a manufacturer’s rep firm whose technical solutions included electric motors, air moving components, sensors, controls, and power transmission components. Through hard work and determination, he became a very successful businessman.
Kewin managed Palatine South Little League for many years, teaching young men about the sport. He and his wife spent much of their time in Marco Island following his retirement.
His lifelong hobbies were golf, tennis, boating and fishing. Kewin was also a philanthropist who supported the American Cancer Society, Northwest Community Hospital and the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Atlanta.
Veteran Conrad Kewin died August 5, 2010, and is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
