Earl Eugene Billman was born September 12, 1932, to Earl A. and Loretta Matykevich in Newton, Illinois.
Billman entered into the U. S. Army in February 1953, and proudly served during the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge, he started his career with First Federal Bank (which became Citicorp in 1984), where he managed branches all over the northern and northwest Chicago suburbs.
On June 9, 1962, he married Alice Herman in Olney, Illinois, and they raised their five children in Barrington.
Throughout his life, Earl cherished the outdoors, spending his time hunting, fishing, gardening and beekeeping. He was Past Commander of American Legion Post 158, and volunteered time to 4-H and Knights of Columbus.
Earl E. Billman passed away peacefully January 21, 2022 in East Troy, Wisconsin, and is buried with his wife at Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
