Glenn Knudsen was born October 22, 1920 in Chicago to Conrad and Hannah Olsen Knudsen.
Knudsen enlisted in the U.S. Army for service in WWII on August 5, 1942. He was discharged on December 19, 1945 as a Technician Fourth Class.
After the war, Knudsen joined his brothers as a linoleum and carpet contractor in Lake Zurich.
In the mid-1970’s, Knudsen relocated to Florida, where he was engaged in property investment in the Vero Beach area with his brother Clifford.
TEC4 Glenn Knudsen died October 30, 1986 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery with his brothers Marshall and Clifford, who were also U.S. Army Veterans of World War II.
