Raymond Chester Novak was born May 10, 1920 in Chicago to Andrew and Rose Bociak Nowak.
Novak was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army, discharged as a Private First Class.
He was briefly married and had one daughter.
Professionally, Novak was an accountant.
Novak served as President of the Village of Deer Park, and was a member of the American Legion Post #158 in Barrington.
PFC Raymond Novak died January 25, 1992 in McHenry, and is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
