Henry F. Rieke was born July 16, 1919 in Barrington to Fredrick W. and Lizzie Jahnke Rieke.
Rieke was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army from November 19, 1941 to October 11, 1945.
On December 27, 1946, he married Evelyn Boyd; they raised four children.
He was engaged in home construction as a professional cement finisher, and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ.
Veteran Henry Rieke died March 1, 1991 in his Barrington home and is buried with his wife in Evergreen Cemetery.
