CAPT John C. Dee

John Charles "Jack" Dee was born November 4, 1934 in DuPage County to John and Bernardine Bendel Dee.
Dee graduated from Iowa State University in 1958, where he played football and ran track. He belonged to Phi Gamma Delta and participated in ROTC.
Dee was commissioned as a Captain in the U.S. Army and served two years after graduating.
On Jun 26, 1959, he married Nancy Spikings in Cook County; they raised two children.
Dee worked as a salesman for Armstrong [World Industries] through the 1960’s in cities like Seattle, Wichita, and Cincinnati. In 1972, he moved his family back to the Chicago area, where he founded his own business, John Dee, Ltd., selling refurbished vending machines.
He enjoyed golfing at Inverness Country Club and escaping Illinois winters in Florida.
CAPT Jack Dee died April 6, 2018, and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
