Malcolm Patrick “Pat” Flood was born on July 3, 1934 to Thomas and Lenore Baker Flood.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army for service during the Korean War on February 5, 1954, and was honorably discharged as a Specialist Third Class on March 22, 1956.

Flood married his wife Pauline Pohlman in 1967.

Professionally, he was a truck driver, and longtime resident of Cary.

Flood is remembered for his helpfulness, generosity, sense of humor and for being "MacGyver".

SP3 Pat Flood passed away on February 9, 2019, and is buried with his wife in Evergreen Cemetery.
