Jack Clifford Shultz was born August 9, 1929, in Chicago to Joseph and Mildred Woxen Shultz.
He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the Midway and at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi.
On October 28, 1951, he married Betty Berniece Stevens while he was stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas; they raised three children before her death in 1980. On September 12, 1981, he was united in marriage to Betty Rae Brooks, who preceded him in death on March 14, 2024.
Schultz was employed at General Motors as a plant manager, and subsequently left to start his own highly successful business as a manufacturer’s representative.
He loved to golf, he was an avid gardener, and he loved a good debate.
Veteran Jack Shultz passed away on March 19, 2024, and is buried in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
