Harold Alexander Hutchinson was born December 14, 1906 in Barrington to Charles L. and Myrtle Robertson Hutchinson.
In May, 1943, Hutchinson was called up for duty in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. He was honorably discharged as a Technician Fourth Class in May, 1946.
Hutchinson married Ferris M. Veath on October 3, 1949 in Barrington; they raised one child there.
He grew up in Barrington, where his father was a mail carrier for 42 years. Hutchinson, himself, worked at the Barrington Post Office for 40 years, before retiring in 1969.
TEC4 Harold Hutchinson died in Tucson, Arizona, on April 19, 1998, and is buried with his family in Barrington’s Evergreen Cemetery.
