Raymond Albert Trestik was born February 1, 1916 in Milan, Wisconsin to Frank and Josephine Wucha Trestik.
On June 12, 1942, he married Jean Melow in Barrington; they raised one child in Barrington.
Trestik served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from June 1, 1942 to his honorable discharge as a Sergeant on September 12, 1943.
He was a well-known auto mechanic in the area, and enjoyed golfing.
SGT Raymond Trestik died April 3, 1998 in Barrington, and is buried at Evergreen Cemetery.
